Walking Home
This collection of work is inspired by my long walks in the Shropshire countryside. Each week I set out on a solo walk from home, travelling along a different compass point each time; thoroughly exploring my immediate environment. These paintings are the places and spaces that caught my attention and captured my imagination.
Lie of the Land
Inspired by my continued exploration of my local environment, revisiting now familiar places and exploring time and season as well as location. All the paintings are of places I know intimately and it has become increasingly important to me to capture a feeling of moving through the landscape as I create my visual map.
